Congratulations to Reece who traveled to the Bahamas in November to participate in the Formula Kart Stars (FKS) speed week. The week was not just racing but also an educational exercise which brought together children, communities, businesses and media with the use of motorsport. Reece made a huge contribution to school programs and became an automatic role model to the younger generation. He appeared in the National press and was a guest of the Prime Minister and other political figures. All this while winning the Speed Week main event and setting the fastest time in the hill climb event. Even Stirling Moss was on hand to congratulate Reece’s efforts!
We are all very proud of what Reece has achieved during this Speed week and the inspiration he has given to others while doing what he loves.
Reece will now embark on a new journey and move on to car racing. The steps are already in motion with a view of participating in the Clio Cup. Reece is undertaking his ARDS test to gain his Car motorsport license. While he will be racing Karts at team events this season his next step in motorsport will be Cars.
Please contact us if further information is needed and to discuss new commercial
opportunities that exist with the Clio Cup.

Indeed Speed Week’s first big event was the Karting Challenge, held in the shadow of Nassau’s brand new Thomas A Robinson Sports Stadium, constructed at a total cost of some $100 million. The management team of the Stadium were very supportive and allowed the creation of a challenging circuit in their parking lot. Starting at mid-day on Sunday, it was, in its way, truly historic as, as these young Kart Stars took to the starting grid they signalled the return of racing to Nassau for the first time in fifty years. Young they may be but the racing would have done credit to seasoned veterans as they fought their way between the barriers of what all proclaimed was a far better circuit layout than they had anticipated. After some extremely close dicing Reece Wade was the winner of all three heats and became the darling of the Bahamian crowd!
